12-20-06: almost christmas & fanlistings

I can't believe it's almost Christmas. It doesn't even feel like a year has passed. Blah! I've done nothing. Hopefully the new year will bring in more new opportunities. Just wanted to wish everyone a great and safe holiday and give an update on my fanlistings. I've just opened up two new ones and of course, gave away two other ones. 11-15-06: the day after

It was my birthday yesterday. Nothing really big to celebrate, especially when one is getting older. Old, old. Eeeek... time sure does fly after graduating from high school. Blah! I guess people are bound to get older. Can you believe that it's going to be Thanksgiving next week. I guess the holidays are just around the corner. Blah! Well... on to my wall updates. I still need to link my icons, but I'm too lazy to. 10 new wallpapers have been added.


10-31-06: happy halloween

Yikes!! Two months later. I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving and it's almost Christmas. It's amazing how fast time passes. I've decided on something though, which makes me feel a little better. I'm going to take advantage of the classes that we can take at work. I'm going for a second bachelors. This time as an Art major with emphasis on Digital Media. I guess I can finally put my hobby to work. I might as well get paid for something that I like to do right? I hope everything works out.

I've also been a little preoccupied with Japanese dramas. I love Korean dramas. I do, but lately no synopsis has really been outstanding. All the funny, romantic dramas are none existent. So I moved on to jdoramas and I was not disappointed. I've caught up on old ones and new ones and they've been awesome. I love that they are only 9-11 episodes. Enough so that it's not too short and not too long that it doesn't drag. Currently, I'm watching Nodame Cantabile, hence the layout. It's hilarious. I would totally recommend it for anyone who's familiar and not familiar with Japanese dramas. The only sucky part is the waiting. It's only at it's 3rd episode this week I think, but it's worth the wait.

As for site news, a while back I opened a site with Linda and Mal for Jim and Pam, The Office is hilarious and the only show that I watch religiously.

09-05-06: talk about behind

I guess I just have the tendency to disappear from time to time. Everytime I update this blog, I have this overwhelming urge to change the layout. Which I'm planning on doing for sure tonight (so I say). I'm going to be doing lots of updates, changes, new affies :) and art pieces too. Since I've been gone over the summer, I'm proud to say that I've pretty much done nothing. Big fat NOTHING! No trips. NADA! I have however been recovering very well. I don't walk with a limp anymore. It's pretty much back to normal. Except I still can't run, not that I ever did before. Brisk walk is still hard, but whatever... I'm walking. Physical Therapy is hell. Whoever says they like it isn't getting their money's worth. My PT has stretched my ankle to a point where I felt like passing out, or at least on the verge of passing out. Too intense of a pain to wish on anyone. Oh well... enough about my stupid foot.

I've also taken a much needed hiatus on Kdramas, but that was in July and I'm over it. I'm going to start watching again. I just need to clear out my drive and make room. I've been a little obsessed with Naruto, Bleach and Eureka 7. It's about time to go back to kdramas and my art. I did however manage to create some walls and a new fansite. Yes a brand spankin' new fansite. For the pairing of Danny and Lindsay from CSI: New York.

06-25-06: back online

Thanks for love guys! They mean a lot and very empowering. I get my cast out next week! I can't wait to rejoin the real world. I'm finally going to get out of my house. Cabin fever at its worst! Also I'm finally back online!! A couple of days after my last post my internet died. Verizon kept saying it was something inside my house and wanted to charge me $80 for a tech to stop by. When my dial tone also died I finally convinced them to come here and fix it! Who cares if I have to cough up some cash. Anything to get things working again! Luckily I was charged nada since it was something wrong with their network. Which I of course knew because I didn't do anything to my settings. Ugghh... sometimes customer service workers suck! I was one, I should know this already.

The good thing about being offline, you actually get some art pieces done. I created 9 new wallpapers :) Bones and Goong love are back full force. One of my online friends, Andrea, got me sucked back into the world of Bones. I'm currently working on a fansite *warning drama addicts to follow* http://beyond-bickering.net - dedicated to Booth and Brennan. As for Goong, since season 2 will be taping soon, I've been rewatching the episodes. Although it won't actually show until December, I'm willing to wait. Oooo... I've also been caught up with all sorts of kdramas, since I have so much time on my hands. Currently watching: Great Inheritance, Exhibition of Fireworks, Mr. Goodbye *I love this one!*, and One Fine Day. Stopped watching: Smile Again - I can't stand Lee Dong Gun's character. He's so annoying! Even seeing Lee Jin Wook can't make up for it. Frustrating but true. Oh well I have lots of kdramas to watch already. 4 more days and I'm free!!

06-18-06: trying to recover

No drama update or art update. I just wanted to let everyone know about my one month absence. On Friday, May 19th, one day after my last blog, I managed to fall down really short stairs at work and broke my ankle. Don't click at the photos if you're easily grossed out. Here's a phone photo I took when I was at the Emergency Room (the break). After my 4-5 hours of ER ordeal I was told that I needed to have surgery on my right ankle, the diagnosis was a bimalleolar ankle fracture (online photo). This is exactly what they did to me during the surgery, staples and all. Here's a photo when they took out the staples (1 week after surgery). I've been at home for the past month. Stuck in my room with enclosing white walls. Trying to recuperate, foot elevated, watching time creep by. What made things worse is the fact that while doing nothing, I got sick. A cold at first and slight fever, but then got worse and I ended up with my first ever ear infection. I guess one's body can only deal with one illness at a time. I'm currently deaf in one ear. It's horrible. I just want to be well again and walk again. I want my cast out and at least learn how to walk again. I have 2 more weeks and at least 2-3 months left of physical therapy. So since the violins have stopped playing I'm logging off. I really hope everyone else is enjoying their summer. If you're not please enjoy it!!

05-18-06: obsession renewed

So I've managed to open http://wishful-thinking.net. It's a fanlisting/mini fansite dedicated to Ryan & Summer from The OC. Yes I'm still in love with Seth/Summer, but sometimes rooting for the unconventional is just as sweet as for the it couple. I love them too. I'm definitely going to be catching up on all things "The OC." Veronica Mars has been officially renewed. I can't wait to see what's in store for Logan and Veronica. I hope it's not another summer fling. I hope next season will be even better, or at least back first season standards. I've managed to create only a couple of wallpapers for Spring Waltz. I can't believe it's over. I'm so sad. I loved Mondays and Tuesdays and looked forward to watching them.

+ Bad Family is over too and I'm really sad about that. I have a fanlisting coming up just for my favorite pairing. Oh Dal Gun and Kim Yang Ah. They're soooo cute. I can't believe he's a grown man that seriously does not know how to kiss a girl. All his attempts were hilarious. Even the one that landed right. Haha... I'll definitely be capping things.
+ Great Inheritance is another new Wednesday & Thursday drama that I'm currently addicted to. The two main characters are soooo cute. I know, I know, same description but I can't help it. Korean dramas just suck me in. Kang Hyun Se and Yoo Mi Rae. No matter how thuggish he acts, he has a soft spot for the leading lady. I can't wait to do their break downs. I better start early so that it won't be over by the time I start.
+ Exhibition of Fireworks is my weekend show. It makes me wonder how I find time to watch all of these. Shin Na Ra and Na In Jae. This story I like a little bit more for the plot than the potential of a pairing. It has so many possibilities. They actually wrote a story based on the perspective of the bitch in a drama. Most kdramas pretty much revolve around a love triangle, between the good girl and the two boys who fall for her. In this case, the main girl is really the girl looking in. She's working hard at making the life of the other woman miserable. She's doing it out of vengeance and if she wasn't the main person, I'd be hating her. A different perspective is always refreshing.... so they say.

04-26-06: still kickin'

I think the server issues has been resolved. Lots of moving around and we're still not done moving DTM's gallery to dtm-media but we'll get there eventually. So my server was on the fritz, then boom!! my internet at home decided to join in. For 7 days it was offline. I was going nuts. I did however get plenty of sleep. I guess that's something that I've given up since I was so hooked to the net. While on that long internet hiatus, I managed to make 17 wallpapers. Yeah, I was totally bored. Bored out of my mind. I'm getting back into my old internet funk. Well here are my new wallpapers.

04-10-06: still kickin'

Server issues, after server issues!! I feel like pulling my hair out. The only thing keeping me sane is the fact that I've created a new layout, which I failed to mention. And I created more wallpapers. All kdrama-centric except for some Veronica Mars ones. Finally LoVe is back!! I've added 4 new wallpapers, well one is new the rest were already there. There's 5 new Spring Waltz wallpapers. I just love Jae Ha and Eun Young. They're the new layout. If you haven't already seen it, Episode 9 and 10 speeded up. So if you've only seen some episodes and think it's slow, keep watching. I promise, it does get better.
